Our workflows and processes are based on years of experience providing Damage Prevention and Construction services across multiple industries in Metropolitan and Rural areas. We understand that our purpose is to provide a safe environment for our employees, and everyone involved at your project sites. Our teams are trained to continually perform Job Hazard Analysis and perform Peer Safety evaluations on an on-going basis with everyone authorized to stop work if a hazard is encountered.
Subsurface Utility Partners will not only identify potential utility conflicts but also act as your boots on the ground to identify and communicate potential safety hazards before your team arrives at the project site.
Our technicians receive comprehensive skill and safety training. Based on experience and/or responsibilities, Subsurface Utility Partners provides advanced education and instruction on technique, troubleshooting, and equipment. Ongoing safety training courses and instruction are provided to ensure the utmost expertise and professionalism are provided to all clients.
Subsurface Utility Partners Health and Safety Program is designed to ensure all our employees identify and avoid possible hazards. If it is not possible to avoid hazards to complete our tasks, our staff is trained to collaborate with our clients to have the hazard removed or discuss alternative options for completing the tasks when safe conditions can be ensured. Our HSAP is built to meet or exceed OSHA standards and is Third Party audited for compliance.
Subsurface Utility Partners staff are trained in First Aid/CPR/AED, OSHA, and Hazwoper 40 along with project specific hazards including but not limited to Hazard communication, H2S, and Confined Space.
Subsurface Utility Partners is prepared for staff to complete project specific Safety Training and Certifications required prior to arrival at the project site.
Communication and Coordination at project sites is vital to providing a safe working environment. In addition to our internal safety program Subsurface Utility Partners staff upon arrival at your project site will meet with the project manager to review your site Safety Program and work planned for the day to ensure compliance and consistency.
On extended projects Subsurface Utility Partners staff are committed to attending daily and/or weekly project safety and planning meetings with our client’s team. Attending these meetings provides an understanding of the hazards of upcoming tasks, and provides our staff with the opportunity to provide input into utility hazards.
